Roxy Arrojo has been a dedicated leader within the Educational Arts Team for over 25 years and now serves as its Executive Director.

Dom Buccafusco

Director of Community Programs and Spaces

Dom specialized as an adjunct instructor in theater at NJCU for over 25 years. He joined the Team in the 1980s and continues to work as a drama workshop leader.

Joey Rosario

Program Manager

Joey Rosario is a theatre educator, director, choreographer, and musical theater performer. He first joined the team as a teaching artist at Camp Liberty.

Operations and Administrative Manager

Samantha is a Licensed Social Worker and youth development professional making change through non profit leadership.

Instructional Designer | Executive Assistant

Stephanie joined Camp Liberty in 2017 as counselor and Theater specialist.

Louise joins the Educational Arts Team with over 30 years of experience working with families in her community.

Harleigh Johnson

Administrative Assistant and Camp Registrar

Harleigh Johnson joins the Educational Arts Team as Camp Liberty’s Registrar and Administrative Assistant after starting off as a camper at the age of six.

Teaching Artists

Heather Danchise

Upon graduating from New Jersey City University in 2018 with a BA in Art Therapy, she opened a creative space to share her love of ceramics with people of all ages and capabilities.

Lionel Emabat

An Artist and Designer with over 10 years of experience, Lionel holds a BA in Digital Design & Illustration/ Computer Science.

Dani Kopoulos

For over 15 years Dani has led drama, writing, & movement workshops as a teaching artist. She is also an award winning
performance artist and published writer.

Sam Llanes

Sam started as a Junior Counselor at Camp Liberty, eventually moving on to become the Set Designer for 10+ years, producing full stage scenery with the kids.

Sylvia Riley

Her formal artistic studies have taken her around the world, from Paris to California, through various Continued Education courses with the School of Visual Arts and the New York Film Academy.
